A few useful shopping tips when buying at the Essex & London Computer Fairs

Don't be in too much of a hurry to buy. Satisfy yourself that its what you want, then examine/inspect the product(s) thoroughly before handing over your money. This is mentioned because people tend quite often to feel under pressure to buy in case somebody else grabs it before them. Remember to ask the seller about refunds or returns policy. Take your time.

Once have made up your mind and handed over your money, don't simply rush off. Wait for the receipt. Make sure the receipt has the details of the dealer and phone number and any other details like warranty info, returns/refunds policy etc. In a busy situation it is quite possible that these important details are left out as the dealer wants to get to his next sale. Remember you have every right to get a receipt no matter how small the purchase. Any problems come and see us.

Last but not least, please do not wait till the next fair to fix up any problems you have with the goods. Install the goods after purchasing and ring the dealer immediatley if a problem occurs. Leaving it too late before doing something about faulty goods will jeopordise any returns/refunds policies in place. Most dealers won't refund (if they have a refund policy) after a certain period of time. The quicker the action the better the resolution that is obtained.
